The Oregon Garden

On the day after arriving in Corvallis, we decided to keep it light. The nearest thing we hadn't seen that was available now that winter was over is the Oregon Garden. Pretty cool place. I'll put a few pictures here and a bunch on facebook for those who venture there. The garden appears to be primarily cared for by volunteers who love to garden and take advantage of the chance to work in really high end environment. It seems kind of like the "Idea Garden" at the U of I, managed by the "Master Gardeners", but maybe landscaped a bit more. Met a pair of professional photographers there, taking pictures of flowers. He is from England and She from Minnesota. Their website says they chose Cottage Grove, Oregon to live out of searching 3 continents. Says a lot for Oregon. Cottage Grove is just south of Eugene.
